how does jerm do it?
one word. wordpress. actually that’s two words meshed into one.
most of his work are based on wordpress. it’s a semantic web publisher with fluid design flexibility. basically it’s a very cool blogging engine that you can use for static web sites too. wordpress enables you to design your web site to your liking and focus on your content. it simply works.
to make his wordpress better jerm uses a number of useful plugins and code hacks. sometimes he writes them but most of the time he simply googles a suitable plugin.
jerm also uses photoshop. that’s for the design part. it’s the future of digital sketchpadding. instead of having different sizes of paper, brushes and messy blotches of colors, there’s one software.
photoshop is his canvas, wordpress is his clockwork.
