Many people living in their twilight years suddenly realize how empty and pointless their lives have been. They’ve made some successful business deals and had some fun, but in terms of satisfying friendships or lasting accomplishments, their lives have been zero. They have climbed the ladder of success, only to discover that all the while it had been leaning against the wrong wall.
When I come to think about it, I haven’t had much of either success or satisfying friendships, or lasting accomplishments. I’ve spent twenty six years of my life [umm maybe not the whole 26 years] trying to hit that big break and I still don’t see it coming. One day though, when it finally comes around, will I be happy?

I don’t know what I live for to tell you the truth. I work as hard as I possibly can just so I can sleep until noon and watch hours upon hours of TV on Saturday. I hope it gets better than this after college.
In my case I work day after day trying to make a few pennies which then disappear into dung after my intestines thoroughly process all the cokes and burgers I consume daily. It all equates to life = shit.
I don’t think that quote is 100% true. It may be true for some. but I know a lot of rich people (private jets and all) who are happy exactly where the are.
If you look closely the quote says “many people” and not “all people” or “everyone”. On the flip side I know a LOT of people who are rich and successful and they have no clue on how to live a happy life. I just hope I’d end up “lucky”.
And if you look closely at what I said, I said I don’t think that quote is true. “It may be true for some people”.
When you find the right girl, you’ll be able to answer the question yourself. Trust me.

I just don’t like it when people who aren’t satisfied with their lives and don’t make as much money as they wanted to try to rationalize to themselves that rich people are worse off than them.

You bet your ass I have, but it took many wrong choices to find the right one. It’s the girl that you keep seeing vague shots of around my site. I just choose to keep her out of my writing, but I think you can understand why.

I think that it’s all the matter of choices… you can be either rich or poor and still feels that there’s something missing in your live. Well, it’s your own decision to live a happy live as what you are now…it’s all in your heart…I ‘ve been through that experience.
