twitter is dissolving our existence into oblivion

how many of us still have real friends out there? seriously why don’t we just pick up the phone and “hey let’s go to the beach today” rather than tweeting “i’m going to the beach, anyone coming” which will return zero response almost everytime. so do i want to go to the beach with my friends or do i want to go alone. or am i just talking about going? blah.
