I’m happy to announce a new project underway called Nest Egg Info. It’s basically a blog to help you finance your life and achieve your dreams. This has been a collaborative project with my friend Mario. Together we hunt for articles to help you secure your future. Consider this announcement a “soft-launch” for we’re not quite ready for a full-blown launch yet. There are a lot of things still to work on, one of them very crucial, like creditting our sources which we always forget to do when we find the articles. We’re stuck with hundreds of useful articles that we don’t remember where we got them from. Our next immediate step would probably be the blog design. But we would like to test the water first and receive some feedback.
So please stop by and enjoy… Nest Egg Info.
As of a few weeks ago I’ve picked up the long overdue project of redesigning this blog. I’m happy to announce that I’m about 60% near completion. I don’t really have a target date but I’d like to push for a few weeks from now. What I’d like to know from you guys is whether you liked this current design for it’s serving time or not. I want some input to help me decide whether to make the final redesign a complete makeover or simply a revamp. The poll will sit on the sidebar until I decide to launch the new design. You can only cast your vote once so please take your time, be honest but don’t be cruel!
Thank you!
One of the best ways to increase your PageRank is to have incoming links from high PR webpages. While it may sound simplistic getting incoming links isn’t an easy task, let alone getting incoming links from high PR webpages.
Why would anyone with a PR7 link a PR1 page? Content.
This may not be a major enlightenment but if you look around Yahoo! has a lot of high PR pages in its directory. For example the Web Page Design and Layout has a PR6 and it’s not very hard to get listed there if your website has something to do with webdesign and such.
You want to find a matching category and click on the Suggest A Site link at the bottom of the page. Give it a few weeks and if Yahoo! finds your page relevant and useful they might just give you that high PR incoming link, for free.
JErmExpress.com has a PR5 and I think most of it is because I’m listed by Yahoo!
I failed to mention the public release of WordPress 1.5.2 from last week.
This set of improvements and security fixes is in line with our commitment to maintaining an extremely stable 1.5 series. In addition to fixing a number of bugs and adding requested enhancements for plugin authors, this release also addresses all of the security issues that have been circulating the past few days.
If you use WordPress you should consider upgrading as soon as possible.
This is speculation but I can’t help to think that this will embrace our future.
What if Google (GOOG) wanted to give Wi-Fi access to everyone in America? And what if it had technology capable of targeting advertising to a user’s precise location? The gatekeeper of the world’s information could become one of the globe’s biggest Internet providers and one of its most powerful ad sellers, basically supplanting telecoms in one fell swoop. Sounds crazy, but how might Google go about it?
What about Asia? Some multi million dollar company out there should consider this. I like Google, and nothing beats FREE, but any one person or company with too much power is prone for disaster.
What do you think?
