darren sent me an email today with a link to this free online report by brian clark from copyblogger. while the ideas in this report may seem a bit “opposite” from our usual online money making strategies, brian is definitely someone you should listen to.
if you’re having trouble bringing in a sustainable income online, it might be because you’re emulating approaches taken by people who got in early on a particular model. the problem is that the nature of these models makes it difficult if not impossible for new players to achieve the level of success they want. the key to avoiding this kind of frustration is to see where things are going and become an early-adopter in the next big wave of the commercial internet. of course, even if you’re already doing well, it never hurts to take a look forward, right?
ok so after about a month and a half since i optimized the keywords for techfresh, it jumped, well, climbed, from page 10 to page 3 for the search term ‘gadget blog’. not so bad eh? well i’m not too happy about it, but then again i’m never known to be patient. i guess when i come to think about it i know seo pretty damn well, but i just never had the patience to wait around until something happens so i always either ‘abort’ my own tactics or switch to something stupid. ahh well, me. well i hope i can be more patient this time. still optimizing around the network, so i hope we’ll ‘own’ our niches soon.
on another note, health’s been a bitch, but getting sick made me realize of my ‘human’ side, which isn’t forever. i watched peaceful warrior last night and realized that it isn’t the destination that matters, it’s the journey.
nothing lasts forever, so make every moment count.
i just googled gadget blog and it threw 39 million search results in my face. techfresh is #94 (page 10) – quite sad, isn’t it? well, not really. what’s interesting is that it wasn’t even there to begin with. all these time having a blog dedicated to cool gadgets, gizmos, and cutting-edge technology i never really thought about using the keywords gadget blog on techfresh. stupid huh? i realized this a few days ago and i started throwing in gadget related keywords on techfresh, and voila after only a few days techfresh is on page 10.
no reason to party yet but let’s see if my strategy works and techfresh can climb up to page one in the next few months.
ok folks it’s time. i’m 29 and jermexpress.com has finally got a new face. i don’t look so much the same anymore either but i’m not feeling too camera happy at the moment.
the theme should work across platforms especially on firefox but there’s a minor issue with windows vista not having the lucida grande font. i’ll fix that soon.
if you find any glitches please comment away. and if you want a slice of my birthday cake get your ass over to my apartment. party starts at 8pm.
adios.
i’ve been in a limbo and i made an agreement with my soul that it’s best to move on. so my old skin is shedding i figured the blog could use a breath of something fresh too. a new theme is underway and i’m working with the little details to get things running cool and sleek again. it’s gonna be dark. that’s all i can tell. oh and pixel jerm will return!! =)
