As if Apple didn’t understand my financial struggle, they sent me this in the mail today:

Enough lame suspense. I sold my Aspire 3002LCi laptop cuz it had weak battery life (1.5hrs) and it was too big and clunky to carry around.

I went to Jakarta last Tuesday to pick up a 12.1″ iBook G4. It just happened that the 512MB DDR I bought for my Acer was exactly the same type DDR the iBook has a slot for. So now I have an iBook (yeah baby) with 1GB RAM. It’s got durable polycarbonate body and magnesium frames and it’s looking sweet on my desk in its sexy white glory.

I took it to the beach with me (more on that later) and it survived 16hrs of bumpy rides. The batery lasts up to 6hrs and I can now work part time on free wifi at the malls.

I pimped my baby once and now she’s gone

I never liked whores but when I got a chance to pimp my baby I didn’t think twice about how I’ll face my regret. I sold her for $675 ($45 profit) to Cin and I’m again without any means of mobile office and communication.

These are some speculations on why I let her go:

She wasn’t so great in bed
She kept making me coffee (going against my detox)
She was beautiful but she wasn’t THAT beautiful (I cheated on her and she got mad)
She needed better memory (kept forgetting shit)
I went bankrupt
I exchanged her soul for a piece of bread

I always knew she was too good to be true. I paid my price, and I’m sleeping solo again. If you can think of any other reasons why she left me please drop a comment.

I Whored My n-Gage For A Candybar

What happens when you want a laptop so bad for so many years and you finally get it? You want a kickass laptop backpack. You want an iPod mini to sit next to it. You want to live where you can jack Wi-Fi from your neighbors. You want take it rock climbing and see if you can check your email from 10k feet above ground.

Maybe not.

But most people would want more MEMORY!!!

You all know how poor I am, so on Thursday, wait.. Friday I whored my n-Gage for a candybar and spent the difference on a spankin piece of 512MB DDR 333 SO-DIMM PC-2700.

My Acer Aspire 3002LCi now sports 768MB of juice enough for a day’s worth of Photoshopping around while running iTunes in the background.
