In about 5 years from now Google would dominate the internet marketplace. Amazon and eBay has been successful in connecting merchants and buyers for years, but never understood what people really want. Google will fix this with semantics, using meaning of things to make better sense of passing information. You would be able to tell Google what you want to buy and it will cleverly pull out a list of items on your favor, with a personal touch. It’s almost like it’s alive. That’s what semantics are all about, giving meaning to syntaxes and logical computation, and understanding people.
