because that’s where organic traffic comes thru and that’s how i want to convert.  good for long term readability?  no, i guess not, but this is where my home page comes in.  i’ve cleaned up the home page across the network to rid them of all ads above the fold.  so when repeat visitors come to our blogs, they don’t have to stare at ads all day trying to read our news.  i hope this contributes to building readers trust over time.

at the end of the day, i hope this benefits both our readership and our revenue stream.
