12.1″ iBook G4
Enough lame suspense. I sold my Aspire 3002LCi laptop cuz it had weak battery life (1.5hrs) and it was too big and clunky to carry around.
I went to Jakarta last Tuesday to pick up a 12.1″ iBook G4. It just happened that the 512MB DDR I bought for my Acer was exactly the same type DDR the iBook has a slot for. So now I have an iBook (yeah baby) with 1GB RAM. It’s got durable polycarbonate body and magnesium frames and it’s looking sweet on my desk in its sexy white glory.
I took it to the beach with me (more on that later) and it survived 16hrs of bumpy rides. The batery lasts up to 6hrs and I can now work part time on free wifi at the malls.

Yo man! I just got back from a big road trip, and have been contemplating purchasing a new laptop for a while. I’d totally go for an uber-mini one, like the one you just mentioned! How you liking the whole Mac thing so far? I’ve been using them a fair bit at uni, so I kinda know what I’m getting into, but they just seem so goddamn clever!!
Anyway. Yeah. I want one too

Hey Jax! I’m lovin this baby dude, it’s small, it snugs in my backpack and it doesn’t give me muscle aches when I put it on my lap. It’s almost like gettin a petite Asian girlfriend. Hehe… I’m definitely not lookin back, unless they make Macintel happen one day. So where did you go man? I was at the beach and the iBook was with me the whole time, it even watched me swimming. LOL.

It does get warm on my lap, but most girls do anyway!
So who is this girl in Brisbane? New girl? You’ve been keeping me in the dark too long my friend. The beach was safe, no humans lurking around and besides my iBook has that voice thing that can scream if it gets stolen!

Nice! Which one is more powerful in your opinion? I haven’t tried either of those myself.

Uhm the Acer had a Sempron 2800+ processor so gigahertz-wise it’s a lot more powerful than the iBook’s lowly 1.33GHz, but considering Mac OS X’s efficiency and the way the G4 processor process information, I still favor the G4 a lot more.
