in Reflection

The Secret, the Universe, Energy, you name it. Does it really work?

Two months ago Vie was worried about money and she was thinking about getting a day job to help out with our finances. I told her the story of Moses, when he had to take the Israelites out of Egypt, how they had to go through the dessert eating manna everyday before they can reach the promised land. The moral of the story was that life will be hard if you want something bigger. You have to work hard and persevere through the hardship. Yeah you won’t eat steak like you did in Egypt (or you won’t enjoy the cozy environment of your old office cubicle, the friends at work, etc), so fucking what? You’re doing something bigger now. Anyway, I told her that January will in fact be tough, and that if she stuck with me (doing our work) throughout January I promised her that February would be good. Heh.. February will be great! Now I didn’t know shit when I said that, I didn’t know how February would be good but in my mind it just has to be good. We had no choice. Either February would be good like I said it would be or one of us would have to get a day job to fill in our expenses.

Guess what?

It’s February and we made about triple what we normally make in a month. Crazy huh? Then Lee came out of nowhere with the Secret and whether you believe it or not I tell you it works. Now I’m a Christian and I believe in God and all that, so the way I get it is that God probably created the law of attraction as a mean to control the universe. Other people might believe in the law of attraction as something purely cosmic but I choose to believe that it’s part of God’s divine work. But whatever, it doesn’t matter what you believe I guess, it only matters that it works.

Lee channeled his thoughts on a 5 pounder the other day and he was standing in line for a burger and the lady in front of him took out a 5 pounder out of her purse, then he looked back and the gentleman behind him was holding yet another 5 pounder in his hand. LOL. He also has been struggling with finding a job for months – and the moment he channeled his thoughts on a job the phone rang and it was the job agency, he now has a great job (or stepping stone as we like to call it) and he’s well on his way up again.

I somehow need to work on my believe system, I haven’t had much faith in anything lately but the fact that February is really awesome made me believe again. It was the law of attraction at work even before I knew anything about it. Now I just gotta focus on making ten grand a month (it’s not greed LOL believe me I have tons of urgent needs) then I would be able to solve most of my problems and help a lot of people around me.

Do you believe?

I don’t believe in God, but I do believe in cosmic energy and the power of the mind. For the mind and the universe exist as one, everything is Energy, vibrating at different levels. We as humans give off two types of vibration, GOOD and BAD! Both vibrations attract things. You think something bad (with enough belief), it’ll start to happen, you think something good (with the same belief) and it’ll happen also. The universe doesn’t know the difference between “I don’t want this” and “I do want this”. Whatever you are thinking of the most (illness, stress, debts, or happy thoughts!), it’ll come to you.

Put yourself under a powerful enough microscope, something that can see beyond the atoms we are all made of and you’ll see ENERGY! Enough energy to power a small city (on a nuclear level). The mind has been scientifically proven to give off energy signals each time we think of something, the brain is constantly transmitting signals into the universe. The universe hears those thoughts and answers them!

You shouldn’t dismiss something just because you don’t understand it. 500 years ago people thought the earth was flat. Humans are evolving and discovering wonderful things every day, science cannot answer everything, this is FACT!

Since following the Secret (Law of Attraction) my life is getting better and better each and every day. Things are starting to move into place for me, my thoughts are clearer (i’m very excited when I write this though !!), and the best part is..

I’m not afraid of my future anymore. I’m in control!

I do believe in God and the power of the mind. We all have a choice in what we think to be true. The best thing to do is to concentrate on the positive things and do good and watch good follow you. Everything God created was made good and have a choice to do good or evil.

Two things…

1. If I had to sum the entire thing up, it’s that the Law of Attraction
is all about alignment. You’ve got to do the “work” if you want to
bring something info your life.

This is where I think people mess up, which gives the entire thing the
“MLM/Amway” kind of vibe. You can’t just sit around eating junk food
and watching reruns and expect to live on the beach…regardless of what
the infomercials say.

People like Joe Vitale are out working. Bob Proctor is out working.
James Ray is out working.

2. I found a FREE book (yes, FREE) that helped me figure out all of
this. http://www.receivethebook.com/ has it and it’s well worth the read.

And like I said, it’s FREE. So you can’t argue that the guy is trying
to take advantage of people looking for a “magic pill” or whatever else
I’ve been hearing over the last 2-3 weeks since this thing hit Oprah.

Yeah, well I do believe in the law of attraction. It works, I have done much research on the science behind it.

I have read the book that Luci is recommending – it is definately worth the read if you are interested in learning more.

Great info.

I watched the Secret DVD a few months ago and got another book on Law of Attraction,
but it didn’t really start happening for me until I wrote down my intentions. I found that to be
VERY powerful.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0975436171/ is a book I just got, which makes
planning out your Law of Attraction goals easy. Just fill in the blanks and you’ve got a road
map to follow. Has been working well so far.
