i just noticed that engadget, one of my favorite gadget blogs but also one of the toughest, meanest competitors for techfresh, has dropped from pr7 to pr5 today.  then i read darren’s blog and he too had a big drop, from pr6 to pr4.  daniel at dailyblogtips has compiled a list of top blogs that experienced the same pr drop in the last couple hours.  what’s going on folks?  is the big-g penalizing people right and left, or is this their shout out to pr-addicts that pr isn’t all that great of a deal anymore?  these blogs seem to be doing just fine, by the way, no drop in traffic or anything.  if anyone sees a pattern or whatever, hit me up in the comments.  i sure am curious.
