When me and Dee first came here about two weeks ago we were awed by the massive structure of the KLIA. It is probably the awesomest airport we’ve ever been into. We didn’t have any reservations that night so we expected to sleep at the airport. As we walked out though, we saw a guy holding our names on a piece of paper. Turned out some guy from one of the oil companies here (a friend of a friend) sent us a limo. It felt like a thousand volts just zapped my brain. We’re so used to hardship that the limo seemed too good to be true. We’re more like earth-walkers, we’d walk everywhere cuz we can’t afford transportation. So we skipped sleeping at the sleek airport that night and took the limo ride instead. We were like little boys having the time of our life. The limo driver was very nice. He took to Joseph’s place. Apparently Joseph (again a friend of another friend) volunteered to host us for a few days to help us start up our new life here. Joseph is from India but he looks Chinese, damn nice fella. We also met Jeffrey his housemate, a funny as hell Malaysian Chinese. We had a great first week there at the Heritage Condo.

Then we moved to Sunway.

Today is national holiday here, so I called Joseph and Jeffrey to see if they wanted to hang out. I have to work during the day anyway (since I’m self-employed and I’m behind a dateline) and they have stuff to do with their condo so we’re having dinner later.

What’s crazy though is how much has happened between our first day here and today. For example Jeffrey just told me that someone jumped off a window at the Heritage Condo yesterday. He said it looked like suicide. Dee left last week. I had phonesex with someone from ***** (censored). There had been two dinner parties at my condo (I was invited to one of them). You can see from that short list (there’s more and I can go on forever if I wanted to) that life here is much different from life back in Indofucksia. It’s a lot more dynamic here, more fast-paced. I mean I do get lonely in the afternoons but if I choose not to be lonely and step out there there’s a whole lotta life to live here in KL.

I’ll be going to Singapore on the 20th to renew my visit pass. Until I find a better solution this will have to do for a while.

I should get back to work now or Lee will kick my ass. Yeah he’s business partner now.
