Everytime I try to run 3DSMax5 my CPU usage level goes up to 90-100% and it causes my box to stall. I’m wondering if the package is a huge resource hog or if there’s anything wrong with my box. I’ve got an Athlon-XP 1700+ with 640MB DDR. Does anyone have the same problem?

I am haveing the same problem with my box when I run it. Sometimes it will load and sometimes it won’t…but the times it acutally makes it…it takes forever. I have about the same PC specs as you and I was abou too get some more DDR RAM and see if that helps.
On another note…I am in the process of building my own site and was wondering if you could point me in the right direction on a tutorial to help me build my own shoutbox. Also my host only provides me with one database…and I have a forum running on that…can you have the shoutbox run off the same database? tia…love your site btw.

Hey bro thanks for visiting one of my sites…I am in the process of revamping it and I will let you know when its done. Plus get some more DDR RAM bro it works like a charm. Also when you posted to my shoutbox…that is a free one from tagboard. I would like to create my own…and I would like you to guide me in the right direction.
My biggest question on that is I have only one database provided by my host and was wondering since I have my forum running on that…could I attach my shoutbox to that same database? I could really use your help. Email me or post back. Thanks in Advance (tia)

yo yo i have that problem i think it is a hooge mem hog cos im running a athlon 1800XP+ with 768ddr ram and i sometimes get it to either crash or run and take ages to do stuff
